About this Artwork

“La Famiglia” was shot in the cold Arctic waters of Norway. Norway's cold ocean provides an ideal environment for hungry whales to hunt and feast on a variety of sea creatures. This group of orcas was led my the Matriarch of the family, leading them away from the shallow waters of the fjords. In the wild, orcas live in tight-knit family groups called pods. A typical orca pod includes a matriarch, her immediate family and sometimes extended family. Males remain with their mother's pod throughout their lives, while females may disperse and join other pods when they reach maturity. Within the pod, orcas work together to hunt, protect one another, and rear their young. They also communicate with one another using a variety of vocalizations, including clicks and whistles. This was for sure one of the most intimate moments that I had in my Orca experience in Norway.

My Framing Process

We strive to preserve and protect fine art photography, which is why we provide complimentary custom framing on all pieces for customers in the U.S. and Mexico Our hardwood frames come in three colors - black, white, and natural wood - and are each handcrafted with a sheet of UV-blocking acrylic glass, complete with easy hanging hardware. Upon delivery, your artwork is ready to hang.

Once complete, we'll provide a FedEx tracking number so that you can keep an eye on your shipment. Please note that due to high demand, it can take up to 3 weeks for your artwork to be printed, mounted, framed, and shipped.

Returns

Unfortunately, due to the customized nature of our products, we are unable to accept returns, exchanges, or make any changes or cancellations to orders after 24 hours. In the unlikely event that your artwork arrives in anything other than perfect condition, please let us know and we will repair or replace the piece.
